The bicycle has shaped my life. It has been my transport, my work, and the reason I’ve met so many people along the way. A 35mm camera has rarely left my side.

Travelling by bicycle has shown me that borders, backgrounds, and nationalities are only a small part of who we are. As a bicycle messenger and the founder of KEIRIN cycle culture café in Berlin—and as a long-distance bicycle traveller, I’ve been fortunate to experience the world at a slower pace and discover places others wouldn’t even dare going to.

My photographs are about everyday life: ordinary people, ordinary streets, buildings and the small details that show how places on opposite sides of the world often have more in common than we think.

I’ve felt the need to visit Ukraine at least once every year. It’s my own small way of showing support for one of the most beautiful countries out there

I always carry a 35mm camera wherever I go. Sometimes just a disposable. You never know what might be waiting around the next corner. Every photograph on this website was shot on film. I simply enjoy the slower process and the way analogue photography captures a moment. If you’re interested in a print, feel free to get in touch.

Over the years, my photographs have been exhibited in Berlin, Hamburg, Tokyo, Nagoya, Seoul, Bangkok, and other cities. If you’d like to organize an exhibition—even while I’m on the road—send me a message. With a little advance notice, I can usually make something happen. I’m always happy to hear suggestions, feedback, criticism, stories, travel tips and hacks, or simply a hello.

I’m usually on the road for six to nine months each year. In 2026, my focus will be Europe again. If you’d like to buy me a coffee, breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or a roll of film, offer a place to stay, join me for a ride, or simply hang out, don’t hesitate to say hello. Maybe I’m already nearby—or maybe I’ll be passing through soon.
