Bus stops have been photographed by many before, especially across the former Soviet countries. That was never my intention - they simply kept appearing along my rides. Their mosaics, designs, and timeless simplicity caught my attention. While travelling, these places became more than just stops: they offered shelter from rain and sun, a place to rest and eat, and sometimes even to sleep - inside or on top of them. Many of these unique structures are now disappearing, replaced by generic aluminium and plastic shelters. This gallery is a small attempt to document and celebrate them before gone forever…
